Pure Obsessions & Red Nights : New album 1st single '' Dive deep into the night''
Pure Obsessions & Red Nights new album is coming!
1st single: "Dive deep into the night" out now!
The industrial rock/synth-pop act Pure Obsessions & Red Nights is back with a new album.
After an album recorded with Chris Vrenna ( former NIN and Marilyn Manson) in 2021, We are the Stranglings, and several remixes by the finest synth-pop and industrial acts ( Mr kitty, The Anix, The Algorithm, Priest, Sidewalks and Skeletons...), Philippe Deschemin started to work on some tracks.
The result is a deep dive into his 80's influences ( Depeche Mode, Tears for Fears, Inxs, The Cure...) :
Nine Synth-Pop gems, with a modern electronic touch and Industrial Rock and Cold Wave vibes.
With this new album, Pure Obsessions & Red Nights proves that the band is, with no doubt, one of the most creative and exciting acts on the alternative worldwide scene

i Helvete: released a new single
Finnish extreme metal band, i Helvete released last month their first single "Vihapuhe" from their upcoming debut album "SINISTEN PUIDEN NIITTY". Now, the band released the second single "Sairaan Mielen Sinfonia" with a lyric video. The song includes fast tremolo riffs, a catchy chorus and a lot of different parts.
Singer-guitarist Aleksi Mäkelä tells about the song:
“The song was written for a long time before the lyrics were completed. We had to choose between this and another track, which one will be the second single. After the lyrics were written, we realized that this one has a very catchy chorus so it was chosen. We are actually very proud of this one. Sairaan Mielen Sinfonia is almost five minutes long and it's interesting from start to finish. All the sections fell into place exceptionally smoothly. Johanna Kuusela also managed to conjure up an absolutely awesome cover image for this song that perfectly reflects it. Playfully, this did cause us some gray hair, hah.”
"SINISTEN PUIDEN NIITTY" will be released on November 26th. It is a concept album about an individual who doesn’t feel like he belongs in this world. When life seems to include only disappointments, suffering and pain, fatal solutions are in mind.
"The record has a length of almost 40 minutes. When the sixth song was completed, the length felt fine. The songs on the album actually go incomplete writing order. This wasn’t meant to happen, but it just felt natural. The album will include heavy riffs, harsh and growl vocals and dark sections, but also beautiful and momentary touching moments.” - The band reveals.

POWER QUEST: NEW SINGLE "BOUND FOR GLORY"
Power Quest, the renowned melodic power metal band based in the UK just released a brand new digital single called "Bound for Glory" via Inner Wound Recordings. The single is available on all digital platforms.
Steve Williams of Power Quest comments on the new single
"'Bound for Glory' was written during lockdown and lyrically it is very much inspired by the memory of my dear friend Paul Finnie who passed away just over 2 years ago now. Musically it's the first song we have written remotely as the band haven't been in the same room since Nov 2019 and I'm really thrilled how it's turned out. I hope you guys enjoy it too!"

The Atlantic Union: New Video
The Atlantic Union Project is a brand new melodic punk rock band consisting of scene veterans. Ex-members of Come The Spring, Rydell and Damn This Desert Air have joined forces to create something really special.
Lead vocalist, Craig Cirinelli (ex-Damn This Desert Air, Elemae, Arctic Sleep, Hidden Cabins) hails from Boonton in New Jersey, USA whilst the musicians of the band are located in and around Brighton in the UK. The band are all long time friends and decided to call themselves The Atlantic Union Project as this release was created during the covid lockdowns.
The name of their debut EP, '3,482 Miles' represents the distance between Boonton (US) and Brighton (UK) but the music is so fresh and hard-hitting you'd think you were standing at the gig with them!
The new six-track EP is finished and awaiting release early in the new year on vinyl, CD and digital formats.
The Atlantic Union Project are "A transatlantic collaboration bridging the waters via intense blasts of post-punk exuberance":
Craig Cirinelli – vocals
David Gamage – Guitar
Simon Goodrick – Guitar
Mark Wilkinson – Bass
Jamie Donbroski - Drums
The Atlantic Union Project - 3,482 Miles EP - Coming soon - https://youtu.be/tNTq6WRHbtw
The band members of The Atlantic Union Project have all been playing in hardcore bands for over 25 years!
All the music is written by the four UK guys who were playing as Come The Spring. They had three EPs out; ‘Seven for secret’, ‘Revive’ and ‘Echoes’. The last two have been gathered onto an album now too.
Their singer got flakey and left during covid so they wrote these new tracks.
They've been friends with Craig Cirinelli for years, knowing him through his bands releases (Elemae, World Concave, Damn This Desert Air, Hidden Cabins, etc) and knew he’d be the ideal fit.
TAUP recorded the music in the UK then sent Craig the tapes. He added the lyrics and vocals in the US then sent it all back to us to be mixed. The result has come out pretty damn awesome!
As you’ll see from the teaser video for the new EP, 3,482 Miles (The distance between Boonton, NJ, where Craig lives, and Brighton, UK, where the band are all based), the whole thing is kind of a love letter to the hardcore scene we are all part of and inspired by.
David has been writing music and touring for years in Rydell, Couch Potatoes, Joeyfat and Come The Spring. Mark was in Rydell, Rudedog and the BBMF’s, and Simon and Jamie were in Strength Alone. Between them they have many original ideas, but draw inspiration from post-punk classics, ranging from Minor Threat, Dag Nasty, Descendents, Lifetime, Hot Water Music, Gorilla Biscuits, Pegboy, Sensefield, Chamberlain, Braid, Get Up Kids, Promise Ring and more, and that comes through in what they do. Check out TAUP, quite possibly your new favorite band!
Please add this news to your websites, blogs, etc and if you require more info just get in touch.
The band are happy to do interviews, send the EP for review, etc.
The first single is booked for premiere on 8th October but we are looking for partners for the next video premiere and record launch.

Back On Black Records reissues the CJSS "Kings of the World" Cd!
Back on Black Records proudly announces the reissue CD of "Kings of the World" from US Metal legends CJSS. The reissue includes 2 previously unreleased bonus tracks.
CJSS is Guitarist David T. Chastain, vocalist Russell Jinkens, bassist Mike Skimmerhorn and drummer Les Sharp and they are once again together to release their unique brand of metal once characterized by Kerrang Magazine as "Majestic Metal stuffed to the bursting point with all the guitar heroics you could possibly want, highly sophisticated, very technical and, what's more, they play real songs!" In another review they classified it as "Cultured Metal with an IQ of at least 200!"
Trying to classify CJSS's music has never been easy and drummer Les Sharp puts it this way, "We always had a unique sound so let's just call it CJSS Metal!"
The band was also able to put together a video for the track "Thief of Hearts" off the new "Kings of the World" CD incorporating a recent concert and concerts from the early years of the band.
Krilloan: released a new single "Angels Sacrifice"
The debut EP from Swedish-based Krilloan, “Stories Of Times Forgotten”, was released in May this year and was received with positive reviews from all over the world.
Traditional power metal/heavy metal in high speed, and epic guitar solos in the old European style seemed to strike a nerve among listeners across the globe. The band was picked up by Stormspell Records who released the EP as a CD.
Now, its time! The follow-up single “Angels Sacrifice” was released October 8 and the influences are once again the European masters of Blind Guardian, Helloween and Evertale.
"‘Angel’s Sacrifice’ continues the scorching power metal march that the band began with our E.P. – the barnstorming and rapturous romp becoming a regular feature of the Krilloan sound. Full of pace, power and intent, ‘Angel’s Sacrifice’ is infectious, catchy, and an all-out headbanger!"
Mixed by Kim Lindstén at “Addiction Studio” in Krilloans hometown of Älmhult and mastered by the genius Thomas “Plec” Johansson at “The Panic Room”
Line-up:
Klas Holmgren - Guitars
